Scripture for the year:

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, [11] so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
[Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV]"

  • Current Homily Series:  "Go:  Sent by the King," Hyperlink is to Facebook event description of the message series.  We're at week seven section six of Matthew 10 discourse.  Join us each Sunday for an expository message of this text.  You can expect guest preachers over the course of the planned pastoral transition too.
  • Pastoral Transition.  We want our church family, friends and guests to be aware that Pastor Nicholas has entered a season of “Retrograde Refit,” (link to long form message) a planned period of renewal and preparation guided by prayer and obedience to God’s leading. This transition is not a crisis but a faithful step toward restoration, future ministry, and the continued health of our congregation. Our leadership team is working closely with our network to ensure a smooth and Spirit‑led pastoral succession. Please join us in praying for Pastor Nicholas, our church, and the next chapter God is preparing.

If you have any announcements for the congregation, share them with Pastor Nicholas.  Emails welcome at dovecreekassemblyofgod@gmail.com.
