"He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." ~Jesus the Final Champion (Mt 17:20 ESV)

Welcome to the prayer page! Here we organize some prayer team initiatives to motivate focused prayer together.  Moving the kingdom of heaven forward!

We’re hosting an entire week of prayer the first full week of January. Sunday the 5th to Saturday the 11th.  Sunday & Monday at 6pm and 12pm Tuesday to Saturday.

**Our weekly prayer service on Wednesday’s at 6pm is closed until January 8th. Wednesday the 8th at 6pm we will continue our normal routine weekly prayer meeting open to the community.

Below is the routine plan on our church campus.  As a church we meet Wednesday's at 6pm for group prayer.  You can expect a listing review of ongoing confidential prayer support for individuals and families.  Prayers requested from within our community, individual prayer time together in the sanctuary and group led prayer.  Make prayer requests up & on the left 👈☝👈 of your screen.

In our community prayer meetings.  You'll be strongly encouraged to build up the 5 prayer altars listed in the book In Jesus' Name by author Rick Dubose:

Outside of our normal meeting routines of Sunday & Wednesday.  Any time we meet we can & will pray together at these altars.

"Alone with God we can move mountains.  Together let us move mountain ranges!" ~Ps. Nicholas

As a recipient of prayer.

What are the standards of conduct you can expect of the Pastor and his appointed leaders?

Joining the prayer team ministry is normally by invite only.  For questions about joining this Altar work team, read the standards of conduct below and contact Pastor Nicholas.

For those participating in the prayer team, while it is by invitation only, there is a Dove Creek Assembly of God (DCAG) Covenant that needs to be agreed to for participating in the ministry.  Agreeing to the listed standards is the necessary step for each Altar team member.

Each leader affirms to willingly live by the following standards:

The following 8 Core Values have been compiled to ensure that all DCAG ministry volunteers are living their lives in such a way as to, first of all, bring honor to the name of Jesus Christ, and second, to bring affirmation to the good name of DCAG in our community. The Core Values should, in no way, be misunderstood as being legalistic, replacing, or superseding the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to salvation. This is not a list that defines salvation. Rather, the delineation of these eight Core Values seeks to establish a reasonably clear standard for leadership service at Dove Creek Assembly of God.

1. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as evidenced by my commitment to worship, Bible reading, Bible study and prayer. (2 Timothy 2:15

2. I am committed to the vision and direction of DCAG, excited about the possibilities for continued and expanded ministry and I further affirm that I am loyal and supportive both in word and action of the lead pastor, the pastoral team, deacon board, committee leaders & appointed lay leaders. I will not speak ill of them to others but will bring any concerns I have directly to the Lord and to their attention. (Hebrews 13:17

3. I commit to be a team player and will strive to exhibit a teachable spirit, submissive attitude, and will live an accountable lifestyle before the Lord, my leaders and my peers. (Ephesians 5:21

4. I am an official voting member of DCAG. If not, I commit to attend the Growth Tracks, which serves as the pathway to church membership. (1 Corinthians 12:27) Some exceptions are made based on credential status with the Assemblies of God.

5. I commit to trust God and have made a commitment to tithe to the Lord by bringing a tenth of my income to “the storehouse,” DCAG, to support the ministries of my church body. (Malachi 3:10

6. I commit to abstain from illegal drug use, prescription drug abuse, maltreatment of others, pornography, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, cohabiting with a person other than a legal spouse, and any entertainment that is contrary to the holy nature of Christ. (Galatians 5:19-21)

 7. I understand that I am encouraged to abstain from the abuse of all alcohol and tobacco, vaping products and e-cigarettes.

8. I commit to observe the “Two-Adult Rule”. The Two-Adult Rule means that while working with or assisting minors, persons under the age of eighteen years, I will make every effort to never be alone with a minor, other than a related child. (1 Thessalonians 5:22

If I have problems in any of these areas, I commit to earnestly seek the Lord’s help and deliverance and will make myself accountable to a DCAG pastor or ministry leader(s)."

As leaders in the church, we are privileged to stand watch over the souls of humanity therefore we hold ourselves to standards of conduct that promote true sanctification.  While no one is perfect except Jesus we strive to lead above reproach with Yahweh's help.
